About Striker Straps
Where It Started
Soccer has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From New Mexico to Wyoming, South Dakota, and Nebraska, the game has given me incredible memories and lifelong friendships.
When my kids began playing, I started coaching. For more than 10 years, I coached players ranging from young beginners and recreational teams to competitive club soccer.
After stepping away from coaching, I enjoyed being a parent on the sidelines. But I still felt called to give back to the game. With more time to reflect, one challenge I had seen repeatedly as both a player and coach kept coming to mind: shooting with intention.
The Problem
Players were getting plenty of shooting repetitions, but the goal was often simply to put the ball on frame.
“Shoot it hard. Shoot on target. Beat the goalkeeper.”
Those skills matter, but players were not always being challenged to choose a specific area of the goal and intentionally place the ball there. Coaches could tell players to aim for the corner, but without a visible target, the corner was often just a suggestion.
I wanted to give players a simple way to make every shot more focused and purposeful.
Building Striker Straps
That is the gap Striker Straps™ was created to fill.
Striker Straps create highly visible target zones inside the goal, giving players a specific area to see, aim for, and hit repeatedly. They are portable, easy to set up, and designed for players, parents, and coaches to use at nearly any field.
The idea is simple: make the target visible, make the repetition intentional, and give every shot a purpose.
Just Getting Started
Striker Straps LLC may be young, but it was built on years of experience playing, coaching, and watching talented players struggle to consistently find the right areas of the goal.
Striker Straps are for the players putting in the work, the parents supporting them, and the coaches looking for a better way to develop confident, accurate finishers.
