What are Striker Straps?
Striker Straps™ are portable soccer training straps that turn a standard soccer goal into a finishing training system. They create highly visible target zones that help players practice placing shots toward the corners of the goal.
How do Striker Straps improve shooting accuracy?
Striker Straps give players clear visual target zones to aim for during shooting practice. Through purposeful repetition, players learn to see the target, pick their spot, and finish away from the goalkeeper with greater confidence.
What is included in the Striker Straps Bundle?
Each bundle includes:
2 vertical Striker Straps™
2 side straps for creating high and low finishing zones
2 empty sandbags for anchoring the system
1 drawstring carrying bag
Sand is not included.
How do I set up Striker Straps?
Attach the vertical straps to the goal and position them near each post. Then, attach the side straps across the goal to create high and low target zones. Use the included sandbags to anchor the system when needed.
How long does setup take?
Striker Straps are designed to be set up in just a few minutes. Instructions are printed directly on the straps to make setup quick and simple.
Will Striker Straps fit any size soccer goal?
Yes. Striker Straps are adjustable and designed to work with different soccer goal sizes, including 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 goals. The straps can be positioned based on the size and dimensions of the goal you are using.
Can the target zones be adjusted?
Yes. The straps can be positioned across the crossbar and side posts to create different finishing zones. This allows players to practice placing shots in both the high and low corners on the left and right sides of the goal.
Are Striker Straps suitable for players of all ages and skill levels?
Yes. Striker Straps help developing players learn better shooting habits while giving experienced players a focused way to sharpen their accuracy and finishing skills.
Can coaches use Striker Straps during team practices?
Yes. Coaches can use Striker Straps to create clear visual target zones for individual drills, small-group activities, and team finishing sessions. They help make shooting drills more focused, competitive, and engaging.
Do the sandbags come filled with sand?
No. The bundle includes two empty sandbags. Sand must be added separately. For best results, we recommend filling each sandbag to a weight of approximately 3 to 5 pounds.
Are Striker Straps easy to transport and store?
Yes. The system is lightweight and portable, and all components fit inside the included drawstring carrying bag. It is easy to take to individual training sessions, team practices, camps, or games.
Can Striker Straps be used outdoors in different weather conditions?
Yes. Striker Straps are made for outdoor soccer training and feature UV protection, minimal stretch, and moisture resistance to help protect against weathering, rot, and mildew.
For the longest product life, allow wet straps to dry completely before placing them in the carrying bag and store the system indoors when it is not being used.
Will hitting the straps with a soccer ball damage them?
Striker Straps are designed for soccer finishing practice and can withstand normal contact with a soccer ball.
The main Striker Straps are made from lightweight polypropylene webbing with a breaking strength of 900 pounds. The side straps are made from flexible elastic composed of interwoven rubber and fabric, allowing them to flex during training.
